Why I will not use Firefox in future
Firefox has been my default browser for many years. Every update has made the program less user friendly. I can no longer ready access shortcuts and the number of tiles has been greatly reduced. Previously I had a row of shortcuts on the bookmark toolbar. They no longer show up. Sadly Google does everything I appreciated Firefox for. So Chrome is now my default browser. I have no idea why Mozilla decided to change their once great browser into a total loser.

The people who answer questions here, for the most part, are other users volunteering their time (like me), not Mozilla employees or developers. When a Mozilla employee jumps into a discussion, you'll see the Mozilla Staff label next to their name.

Hi There is no doubt browsers are getting more complex, but out of choice I avoid all Google ways I can, so sadly I can't compare.
I do notice that Fx updates very often and the last reset of the [settings] is taking some getting use to, but I use it a lot so not doubt will settle in,
As far as you bookmarks/shortcuts go could you tell 'us' which OS you are using. It can be a bit different on a Phone with Android and a Computer with Windows etc.
That's if you still want to consider FX, given you seem happy with Chrome
