I am wondering is this an issue between Firefox and YouTube as I have three other browsers on my computer and YouTube works fine on them. I prefer the picture in picture option on Firefox. There was a browser update like 6 months ago and after that Youtube doesn't work properly. It loads the page itself but not the video and in the rare moment that the video loads it is at the lowest possible resolution and will play for only around 10 seconds before buffering again.

To whom it may concern, My firefox on a Mac running 14.7.1 crashes on every site that I try to access. It goes to the below image that states "gah, etc". I have sent in mutliple crash reports and followed the troubleshooting on the forums. Steps followed so far -Restarted Firefox -Restarted Mac - Cleared Cache and temporary files -Cleared startup cache -disabled extensions -refreshed firefox -upgraded Mac OS

My next option seems to be to uninstall the programs and reinstall it, but I am worried about losing all saved information including passwords, bookmarks, etc. I cannot even access mozilla's site nor the ability to turn sync on.

Youtube videos and Twitch live streams are freezing and whenever I refresh the page the video/live stream is just black. The audio still continues to play and I have no idea what is causing it. I only have 3 extensions installed (Ublock Origin, Youtube Sponsor Block, and Truffle) and have even tried removing them to no success. The only way to fix it has been to close and reopen Firefox, but it usually doesn't fix it for long. Its even started crashing any games I've been playing when I close Firefox. I'll try to get a video to show the issue.

I have windows 10, I have 2 browsers. google Chrome and Firefox. when I go to certain sights they say I have an ad blocker, I can not find one on chrome and looked here? I don't know why they don't show up if I have one? help

I do not have the box checked to update address, yet the pop up to update address continuously pops up. How do I get rid of this. It is extremely annoying and time consuming.

On some accounts, everything is fine. But on others, such as Costco.com and Wise.com, when I click on the sign-in tab after filling in my ID and password, nothing happens.

For many years I have filtered my email through the Mailwasher app with absolutely no problem. I typically have maybe 15 short emails in the morning. If there are unwanted items, which is rare, I can read and delete them there. When I then “wash” the list, good emails are sent to Thunderbird. I click on “Get Messages” and Thunderbird downloads them - usually nearly instantaneously. This routine occurs even if I am hundreds of miles from home. Lately however, and for the past month+ or so, the first 5 or 6 downloads happen quickly as stated above but then the next email may take minutes. Additional emails may also take a minute or more apiece. Then the remainder may download as super-fast as the first ones. Also, some of the earliest ones will download in triplicate. Sometimes a window will display the message: “Error with account: Unable to write the email to the mailbox. Make sure the file system allows you write privileges and you have enough disk space to copy the mailbox.” (I have plenty of disk space.) What gives?

I’m the webmaster for three sites and have been for years. Never had any trouble logging in to my sites until last Thursday.

Suddenly, when using Firefox to login, I got the message “incorrect email or password”

I tried changing my password via the normal route. When I clicked the “can’t log in” button, it buffered for a while and then a box came up saying “an error occurred while attempting to send recovery instructions.”

I also tried clearing my cache and rebooting. Nothing changed.

I just tried to login to another site I use frequently. Same thing happened.

But they all work just fine if I login through Chrome.

Any thoughts on what to do?

Intermittent problem with incoming email over the past couple of weeks. Just a string of alphanumeric characters in the message body, and the "From" and "Subject" fields are blank. Not all emails are affected, only random ones.

The emails appear OK when I use my native Android email client, and if I send them to myself from my cellphone they show up OK in Thunderbird on my laptop. Weird. Any suggestions?

WHEN I DOWNLOADED A PDF FILE IT WAS AUTOMATICALLY SAVED AT FILE DOWNLOADS. MAYBE I ACCIDENTALLY PRESS SOMETHING AND NOW WHEN I PRESS DOWNLOAD IT OPENS THE FILE AT A NEW TAB. TELL ME HOW TO FIX IT PLEASE

I'm having problems with a website constantly asking me to accept cookie permissions. It happens on some other sites occasionally, but this particular site is one that I use each day.

When I visit the site I get the cookie permissions box. I click accept all cookies. No matter how many links I click I am presented with the box yet again. It doesn't happen with Chrome, Edge or Brave.

I have a macbook pro m2 and use firefox nightly. Today my firefox has been updated and after that a lot of resources have gone: there is no more plus button to open a new tab, bookmarks are not being displayed in the bookmark bar anymore. I can't find its version, there is no about or similar feature to check what the current version is.

Facebook when I go to "Like " an entry if any others have liked it when I hover it shows a dropdown of their names but makes it unable to click the like button (or the others reply buttons). This same behavior does not occur when using Edge which makes me believe it is a FireFox specific issue. I do not use Chrome. Thanks for taking a look.

My fire fox app crashed on my desk top. I contacted my Best buy Geek squad total support to help and I believe they made it worst by adding a new program and deleting the what was there. I use trend micro internet security with the password manager add on. I can not load password manager by to fire fox because it is blocked by google chrome I need it added. I would also like to have all my favorites restored. Is there anything I can do?

Hello Firefox has been my favorite browser for years I shifted my PC two weeks ago when I tried to sign up in my new PC Firefox account, i got a message saying my account has been banned! out of no where!!!!
