Is there a way to add voices to the Read Aloud feature in Reader View on Firefox? I'm on macOS and have some voices downloaded in my System Settings > Accessibility > Spoken Content, but I'm not sure if I can also use them in Firefox.

I just experienced a hijack when I clicked on a help link in a trusted site [HP.com] while researching my printer information. It hijacked my system until I was able to clear it with an app. Now when I start firefox a search page is started with searchingswift.com in the address bar. I need to know how to delete this command. I can close it down and start a new window with the proper address bar, but I want the hijacker gone. Thank you

I have used firefox as my brouser on my PC for years with all my bookmarks and passwords. Now without my old computer, how do I restore all my account passwords and bookmarks as it was before.? I am using windows 11 on a Dell desktop PC. Please help. I am not a computer genius. Is there a phone number to call for live help.

I have a laptop whose drive failed. I've got a new drive up and running and restored my data from Backblaze, but so far I have been unable to restore the tabs/history that I'd had open.

I would appreciate any help and/or directions you have to offer.

Trying to download 3.3 GB file. Around 500-600 MB download then fails and displays either, "pause" (permanent) or "failed - cachefly.net". Have tried several times over several days w/o success.

I give up. All I want to do is to go to the selected web site. Now different profile. Passwords don't work. Too frustrating. I had to switch to edge because I just could not figure out why I was getting jerked around.

Over the past six weeks I have had two failures of Firefox [running current version 146.0 (aarch64)] in completing CC payment processes -- at least one involved updating an expired car, I can't recall if the other involved such a change or just entering a card.

I am using Firefox on a mac mini M4 Pro running macOS Sequoia 15.7.2 (up to date, fully supported, but not Tahoe the recently released new version of macOS). I am running Firefox with 4 extensions -- 1 Password, Print Friendly, Raindrop.io, and Authenticator. None were being actively used during these incidents.

In both cases when I switched to Safari and opened the sites, I was able to successfully complete the CC changes and payments. So it does not appear to be related to a problem in my internet connection.

My questions are: a) has anyone had a similar experience with Firefox

     -- particularly incidents related to online financial transactions

b) if so, have you found a solution c) regardless, do you have any suggestions about the cause of the problem or changes to try

Otherwise, my experience with Firefox has been excellent and I am very happy with it, but this is obviously a frustrating and time-consuming problem.

I have reported it to Firefox -- the response was that they will look into it but that my next step should to ask "the community" here.

When I try to connect to the SSA login site, I get this message:

"Bad Request

Your browser sent a request that this server could not understand. Size of a request header field exceeds server limit."

If I use Microsoft Edge, the login works fine.

The website always crashes within 1-3 minutes after trying to open duellingbook.com I have tried everything I could think of to fix it, from Refresh Firefox to uninstalling and reinstalling it completely Here is the latest crash report ID: bp-42f954e4-b840-4e85-8077-64fc70260106

Since the update to Firefox 146.0.1. on December 20th 2025, I cannot save any new bookmarks or organize the existing ones. I used CCleaner 7 but uninstalled it because there seemed to be a problem. But that hasn't changed anything for me. When I checked the integrity of Places Database, this is what I got:

Using your Firefox browser is become less and less likely due to so many issues now starting to compound given being forced to use Windows 11.

Whenever trying to upload images to Blue Sky and as of today, images to articles published on LinkedIn, I'm being forced to use any browser except Firefox.

For some reason, Firefox is not allowing image to be posted whether copied and pasted or uploaded, as once I do that the images all turn black.

Recently affecting downloading PDF files from LinkedIn also... though once saved, thankfully the PDF us usable.

Previous issues were how I could no longer access ChatGPT using Firefox.

Now it is my fear that Firefox is no longer keeping up with the massive changes that are happening.

Please fix?

Whenever I wake my mac from sleep, Firefox is unresponsive. I believe the app is not dead, just not repainting the window. Sometimes if I 'hide' Firefox window behind some other app window, then bring it back to top, it'll re-paint.

For a while I fixed the issue by disabling GPU usage in firefox. But now, even that isn't helping. Then for a while, removing and reconnecting the USB-C connection to my external monitor would fix it, but now that doesn't help.

Have to quit firefox completely and relaunch. Then the app is working again.
