Firefox is popping up an error code each time I try to watch anything on Netflix

If you haven't already, would you first follow the steps as described here (especially the DRM part) :

You can toggle DRM on and off : 'Options' or 'about:preferences' => General (you'll have to scroll down some).

If that doesn't change anything, then let's try Firefox in Safe Mode : If Firefox is not running : Hold down the Shift key when starting Firefox. If Firefox is running : 3-bar menu => ' ? ' (at the bottom of the dropdown) => 'Restart with Add-ons disabled'. Then OK the restart. A small dialog should appear. Click 'Start in Safe Mode' ( not 'Refresh' !)

I tried both and neither is allowing it to play

Maybe try the 32-bit Firefox version to see if that works.

Somebody else, with the exact same problem, mentioned that refreshing Firefox worked for him - so, if the above doesn't do the job, then :
