Checkboxes in FF are very unusable now...
Hello, In FF 152.0.5 (aarch64) on macOS 26.5.2, I am noticing that every website that has a checkbox in a form does not work the way it should. The only indication that the box is checked is a slight "highlight" around the edge of the box, nothing actually in the box. See attached screenshot from the USPS website.
Also, the NO checkbox wasn't even visible until I clicked the area next to it. It was just blank.
I've seen this for set-up pages for WordPress plugins and on standard contact forms (using CF7 plugin) where the checkboxes so very little or no interaction to the user at all.
Grant it, I know now what to look for and how to use these. But any standard user is going to be absolutely confused by this unintended (I Hope) browser behavior.

Do you see the same when you open a plain reference sample e.g. at developer.mozilla.org/docs/Web/HTML/Reference/Elements/input/radio#try_it or developer.mozilla.org/docs/Web/HTML/Reference/Elements/input/checkbox#try_it or this seems to only pertain to custom styled inputs?
(esp. in the most pain style the elements might be picking up some system widget treatment, hopefully it's not clashing with your system appearance prefs in some way…)
If you restart the browser into Troubleshoot Mode do they still appear the same?
The radial buttons on the example link you sent all look and function normal for me.
Only reason I brought this up was because the Checkboxes (not radials) in the set-up steps for Schema Pro WP Plugin acted funky (like described originally) and then I saw those radial buttons on the USPS website from the screenshot I sent.
How do I put FF into troubleshoot mode?
Use Troubleshoot Mode in Firefox for the complete info, but basically just quickly accessible from the browser Help menu.
