Hello,

A folder (Local Folder) shows that I have 20 UNREAD messages. I don't care about them and want to mark them all as READ right away, so I right-click on the folder and select “Mark all folders as read,” but NOTHING happens! I search for the “unread” ones, it finds them, I select them all and right-click, but no options are available! What’s the point of the search and multiple selection in this case?

Please either tell me how to do this in a single step or fix these usability bugs.

Some of the messages in my inbox show the wrong information in the "from" and "correspondents" columns. Is there a way to get the correct information from the message to be displayed?

Hello! I don't understand what's happening with the folders... I've been using Mozilla Thunderbird with this setup for a long time. I had a RedMine folder and a filter configured to move messages from the Inbox to it. But recently, the filter stopped working because it couldn't find the folder on the server, even though I could see it in the folder tree and in the web version of Mail. I deleted the folder and created it again. I enabled the filter, and the messages moved, but they weren't moved to the new folder, but to the one in the Trash, and the new one remained empty. Yes, I restarted Thunderbird, and messages started moving to the new folder, but I don't understand why this happened in the first place—why did I have to delete and recreate the folder?

I'm coming back to Thunderbird, from bluemail, and was wondering if you could add a feature they had. Essentially, you could tap on the profile icon in the inbox, and you'd get a screen with all the messages you had from that address. From there, you had a button at the bottom of the screen that would open a menu with options to: message, mark all read, and delete all. Theres a confirmation dialog after the delete all option is tapped.

Is this something you could add?

Hi, Hoping I can get some help here, I couldn't find an answer in the search topics.

I have lost a few local subfolders. First the subfolders lost the emails contained in them and then the subfolders themselves disappeared.

I renamed the main folder just removing the year from the folder name and not long after that the above happened.

I have tried the following:

• Searching the help topics • Searching the forum • Closing reopening Thunderbird • I removed .msf files and restarted Thunderbird

I am not sure what I can do now.

We are facing a critical printing issue with Thunderbird 154.0 (64-bit).

Emails are not printing from Thunderbird and are coming out as completely blank pages. However, the same email/file prints perfectly when saved to a folder and printed from there. This confirms that the printer is working properly and the issue is specifically with Thunderbird.

The problem is affecting multiple systems in our office as well as our Ahmedabad branch, which is seriously impacting our daily work.

This issue requires immediate attention. Please investigate and provide a solution/workaround at the earliest.

8.24.2026 As of yesterday, Thunderbird Inbox new messages have no content showing. Today, a few new messages can through with a date stamp only-- no subject or sender info and no content when clicked on. Ran the Troubleshooter procedure in which all old Inbox messages vanished. Some slowly came back with subject/sender info but now their content is missing. Today, Spam folder held new messages w/subject/sender line and content showing. But still no new emails with/subject/sender and content. just a time stamp. What's going on?

I wish to have a non American email client, but most free ones have a 1GB limit. Can I set Thunderbird to save all emails to my home PC so that if I delete the email in the email client, it is still saved on my home PC? So far I have not downloaded or installed Thunderbird, so just asking if it is posible, if so I will install Thunderbird.

8.24.2026 Incoming emails are showing sender and subject line and date/time stamp. but nothing more. Click on one and no content shows up. Where is the missing content?

I ran the Troubleshooting Mode yesterday which initially "deleted" every email in my Inbox. Last night and into this am, those missing emails have begun to slowly show up in the Inbox. New emails are also coming in today but without any content, as in, their message does not appear when clicked on.

When scrolling down to view older emails from earlier this year, same problem with no content showing up after clicking on item.

Why is this happening? I'm not a developer so need elementary instructions on what I need to do to restore whatever has gone haywire.

I am running Thunderbird mail on a Win 11 desktop. I have four email accounts displayed, plus my 'Private Folders'. Each email account has it's own 'Deleted' folder, but I also have a 'Deleted' folder in my Private Folders list that I would like to remove. Can I?
