I am using the same account (my school email), and everything else sync successfully.

Tab groups saved on my Windows PC didn't show up on my Macbook; tab groups saved on my Macbook didn't show up on my Win PC. Is this a feature or bug?

I have not been able to access Gmail using Firefox for several weeks. When I try to access it, I receive a message from Google. It's says "Temporary Error" It says to wait a couple of minutes and try again. I have done that repeated and have waited now for several weeks. The message said if it did not work, sign out and sign back in. That did not work. Since I cannot access it from Firefox, I am having to use Chrome. I prefer using Firefox. Would appreciate any suggestions to get Gmail working again using Firefox. Thank you.

I have [[created a backup file|https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/firefox-backup#w_protect-your-sensitive-data-with-a-password]] today with the latest available Firefox and switched to a new OS. Sadly, the backup file somehow seems to have gotten damaged, even if Firefox still recognizes when I'm inputting the wrong password. On Ubuntu, where I originally created the backup and where I tested it again after things weren't working out, Firefox tells me that there is an issue with the file and that I should try a different one (which I don't have). On CachyOS, which I'm currently testing out, restoring the backup never finishes and Firefox doesn't exit cleanly. In hindsight I obviously should 1) have tested the backup immediately, 2) not have wiped my laptop prematurely, and 3) have backed up the folders manually, but I haven't. Now the question: is there some way to extract the account details from the .html file? I don't care much about the rest, but restoring the accounts in some other fashion is gonna be a lot of work.

I have several saved cards in 152.0.1 (64-bit). When on a payment site the drop-down list shows up as expected, so the extensions.formautofill.creditCards.supportedCountries is correct and working (GB). Also address filling still works, as does saved passwords,

However if I try to "Manage payment methods" the resulting list in "about:preferences#managePayments" is blank. (see image)

I have tried toggling on and off "save & autofill" and restarting, but nothing helps.

Adding a new card works, and the new card appears in the drop-down list on a payment form, but still nothing appears to edit or remove in the settings. How an I edit this list?

PS: I have disabled ALL extensions.

i already tried to delete the cookies and cache, but 1 user is still muted for no reason and everyone/everything else works fine, so is there something wrong with the browser ?

i basically got like 2-3 completely different users muted for no reason, but at the moment i can only remember 1 of them and noone else has been added to the bug list ever since... and it basically happened when the Firefox itself got really low on memory again and started to display that red crash button. and even then, many different users crashed, but some did not even get the sound back anymore, while others did with no issue....

I frequently get a notification that an update failed to install and to install it manually. When checking the update section in the settings I see "Restart Firefox to install update". After restarting, the same section shows "Applying update..." but never finishes. This has been happening for a while and it's becoming very frustrating. Any help is appreciated.

One more thing that may be related: sometimes when launching Firefox, the window will pop up for a split second then close and I have to launch it again. This usually happens on a cold start.

Since this morning, Firefox previews any PDF I click on, and then I have to manually download it for it to open in Acrobat. Acrobat is set as my system default. I have tried other suggestions found here, such as going into the troubleshooting and checking the folder profile, but nothing works. It is very frustrating.

So ever since the desktop browser got updated i have been experiencing critical crashes and lag where my pc screen freezes and then goes to black until i restart my graphics card and quit firefox in addition to tabs crashing and very weird performance issues overall, any fixes for this issue?

Hello everyone, Until a few days ago, Firefox version 140.12.0esr included a button to "Save windows and tabs of the current! session." Unfortunately, this feature is no longer available in the current version, 152.0.1. However, for many Firefox users, saving the windows and tabs of the current! session is absolutely essential. What options are there now to resolve this issue? I would appreciate any suggestions! If there is no way to restore this feature, I, too, will unfortunately have to switch browsers after 20 years as a Firefox user. Many thanks in advance for your help and any information. This happened a few years back after a bad update. When I am on forums, Multiple sites) etc, I will be in the middle of typing a sentence and suddenly it scrolls to bottom of page. 100s of times this has happened. I have waited for a month for a corrective update but will have no choice but to permanently leave firefox if not fixed soon.

I have a problem with yfdnzfa.com coming up as blocked - malware in my Malwarebytes program every time I open your browser. Anyone else have this happening?

Every 3-6 months presumably when you update, it fully deletes all my login data from EVERY website, it has happened many times and is honestly so annoying. Please fix this.

I had a catastrophic failure of my desktop computer. They were unable to recover over half my files. My bookmarks in Firefox had links to several critical business pages and I really need to get them back however I have been unable to access them or recover them. Is there any way for these to be recovered if the backup wasn't on? I know its a long shot but I have to ask.

I just downloaded the latest FF having had an old account. Working fine but I continually get a message that I am on windows 10, which is wrong. I am on Windows 11. The message has worn out its welcome. Is there a way to fix this.

how do i permanently remove this kind of unwanted garbage,i have no interest in it and its annoying

i do not care about football, i have never shown any interest in football, why am i getting football related recommendations by the browser
