when i open the internet the screen only fills one third of the screen. clicking on max fills the sceen. how do i fix ??

when i open the internet the page only covers one third of the screen. full screen is available if i click on maximise box. when i try to enter firefox icon i get the following message. check proxy server setting to make surethey are connected. can you help??

You can find the connection settings in Tools > Options > Advanced : Network : Connection If you do not need to use a proxy to connect to internet then select "No Proxy"

Reset the page zoom on pages that cause problems: View > Zoom > Reset (Ctrl+0 (zero); Cmd+0 on Mac)

Start Firefox in Diagnose Firefox issues using Troubleshoot Mode to check if one of the extensions is causing the problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Firefox (Tools) > Add-ons > Appearance/Themes).
