Is there a way to revert to the old search bar? The new design adds unnecessary clicks.

In previous versions of Firefox, using an alternative search engine was seamless: I just typed my keywords and clicked the specific search engine icon.

With the current update, the workflow is much longer. Now I have to:

1. Type the keywords 2. Click the dropdown arrow 3. Select the alternative search engine icon 4. Hit Enter

Why was this UX change made? It feels like a step backward.

Hello Add the Search bar to your Firefox toolbar, is it, your question. https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/add-search-bar-firefox-toolbar https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/questions/1574085 https://connect.mozilla.org/t5/discussions/update-149-0-made-searching-more-difficult/td-p/120608

I've reviewed the two links provided, and the issues mentioned are identical to mine. It seems this change has impacted a significant number of users.
