add-ons - warn when disabled

When I upgrade Thunderbird, is there any way for me to be notified with one of my add-ons is disabled?

I have an add-on that warns me when I'm about to send an email to an email-list that discloses the addresses of all the recipients. I take people's trust in me seriously -- and don't want to give away their info without permission.

I upgraded Thunderbird and my add-on got disabled without my knowledge. Now I have to send apology notes to a bunch of people!

If you re-read the first line of my post, you'll see that I already have an add-on for that. I want to know how to be notified when Thunderbird disables one of my add-ons during an upgrade.
