missing messages transferred to local folder using drag and drop, yet shows as transferred in activity manager

When I transfer messages from an on-line email account to a local folder, they do not display in the local folder. Activity manager states the messages have been transferred.

I cannot replicate this. Messages copied or moved from any of my accounts to any local folder show up as expected.

Does this happen when in Troubleshoot Mode? See <Help | Troubleshoot Mode>.

Maybe you have one of the Quick Filter buttons depressed?

Maybe the local folder index is corrupt. The fix for that is to right-click on the folder name, choose "Properties", then "Repair Folder."
