Icloud Website
For some reason, I was unable to verify my account. I even thought I was wrong with my password, but that was not the case. When I use a different browser, Apple does not just ask me for a password but also a key; however, this option was not available on Firefox. With this, I can't log in to my iCloud on my Firefox Linux app.

That looks more like the wrong info was used. I was able to get into my account on openSUSE(Linux). see screenshot

There are several issues currently being looked at with Apple.
In case your Firefox comes from Snap store, there's a known issue at Apple side now, and just installing a version from Firefox.com directly solves it (or, leaving out the "Ubuntu" part of the user agent string via about:config or an add-on also work).
If your user agent doesn't contain "Ubuntu" and you still can't log in, a private browsing window or clearing the site data should allow you logging back again.
Several users on windows, mac, and linux are having issues with icloud login. It's interesting...
This seems to be related to their login flow security updates (mostly in progressive rollouts, happening slowly over time for different users), that managed to hit two groups of Firefox demography within a few weeks' time span from two different angles on pretty much the same endpoint :/
Funnily enough Google requires one thing to work, and Apple completely breaks on the same. Speak of picking the lesser of two evils?;)
This is reported as resolved on iCloud side, should work again.
