OK, ik kreeg zojuist antwoord van een Thunderbird-ontwikkelaar: Make sure you have your desired account as the default account in Account Settings (go to account settings and Set As Default on an account of your choosing- you should see the golden star next to your account). Ga dus naar de Accountinstellingen, selecteer een account en maak deze standaard. Ik heb nu helaas geen Thunderbird bij de hand voor een schermafdruk.
