I'm having a problem using Fire Fox and it doesn't happen in Chrome. When I'm reading comments from people and they type the word "Don't" it shows up on my screen as " Don't " Why is this and how do I fix this. Very aggravating. Thanks for your help.

Why when I use FireFox and read the word "Don't" it shows up in different characters on the keypad. Even if I type the keys in this message the word changes back to "Don't" It's difficult to explain but I can't reproduce this issue because it changes when I try to post the characters. This allows happens in other peoples comment sections in news articles and is very aggravating. It doesn't happen with Chrome. But the words "Don't and Can't" are the effected words.

Do you meant that you get the HTML entity code for the quote: Don't ?

Does this only happen with single quotes ?

Is this with an HTML (WYSIWYG) editor or with a plain text editor like on this forum ?

Start Firefox in Safe Mode {web link}

A small dialog should appear. Click Start In Safe Mode (not Refresh). Is the problem still there?
