You need a different plugin for Firefox to view Flash videos. You can get one here:

Get the one for plugin-based browsers.

Note it is also possible with YouTube to opt in for using html5 videos instead of using FlashPlayer.

The current Flash 11.3 may cause some issues with Firefox on Windows.

Start Firefox in Safe Mode to check if one of the extensions or if hardware acceleration is causing the problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Firefox/Tools > Add-ons > Appearance/Themes).
