I solved my problem. Right click the top toolbar. Then click customize. Then locate the -+ zoom and drag it to the top left side of your toolbar. Click the + side to increase to the desired size. You have to do this once on everything that you open only once. When you re-open it again it should be at the size set! Good Luck!
