Can't bookmark using CTRL-D or from the web browser. Have reset toolbars & settings.

Can't bookmark anything using the "star" in the url bar or CTRL-D. The star changes to a solid yellow star, then reverts back to clear star. Nothing gets bookmarked.

Start Firefox in Use Troubleshoot Mode in Firefox to check if one of your add-ons is causing your problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Tools > Add-ons > Themes).
