I noticed that ‌import‌ bookmarks is already available in Nightly, but ‌export‌ bookmarks is still missing on Android. I'd rather not use Firefox Sync for privacy reasons, so a native export option (e.g., to HTML) would be greatly appreciated.

Any progress on this? Import bookmarks is already in Firefox android Nightly — export bookmarks should be just as easy, especially for privacy-first users who can't use Sync.

The export feature is currently not mentioned in the Firefox roadmap. Fine, since the export feature (which is far more important to me than import) is not on the roadmap, I will switch to another browser. I don't understand why such a basic feature hasn't been considered despite repeated feedback. Goodbye Firefox, goodbye Gecko.

Hi

Please appreciate that the Nightly build of Firefox for Android is still very much under construction and may have unresolved issues our engineers are looking into.

Exporting bookmarks using Firefox Sync to Firefox on another device is a privacy safe way to manage this information.

But I'd rather not use Firefox Sync. Brave and many other browsers can export/import bookmarks, I will use them until FF can do that.

Thank you for your feedback.

Hi,

I'd like to request that you clearly state whether the [import/export bookmarks on FF android] will or will not be supported.

Currently, there is no explicit statement regarding the feasibility of this feature, which makes it difficult for users to plan accordingly. If this feature will not be implemented, please make that clear so that users like me can migrate to a browser that does support it.

Thank you for your time and consideration.

Hi

If you are already seeing the import feature, then that suggests that is currently being worked on. I am unaware of any plans for an export feature and neither are currently mentioned in the Firefox roadmap.
