If Adblock Plus isn't blocking those ads, they may be coming from Malware which is installed on that PC.

You can use these free programs to scan for malware, which work with your existing antivirus software:

Further information can be found in the Troubleshoot Firefox issues caused by malware article.

Hello,

I am wondering if your Yahoo Toolbar might be the culprit. Can you try disabling it and seeing if you still see the ad? Do you have the toolbar for all three of your browsers?

Hi Cory, Babe, I've had the Yahoo toolbar enabled for as long as I have had Yahoo and it never has made an impact on my email like it has now. It just happened this week. In addition to that I also got this additional small search toolbar the size of the browse box below. It is not that small at all. It is at the bottom of my email page and allows you to do a search from where you are. Give me a break. I already have 2 search bars at the top. I don't need an additional one at the bottom. You know what I mean?

I got a question for you. Why wold disabling the toolbar get rid of the ad??? The ad is in my email in the first line of my email inbox.....It's when you open the inbox up that I have the ad and also now I have these game lines appear in my email box as well. Yahoo says these are the games I play and 3 games appear. I do not play games. Da!!! I can' delete them and don't know how to get rid of them either. I tried to delete them but they came back. I deleted them in the inquiry and rule section. I don't know. I did a malware threat scan a minute ago and it came back "0". I am fixing to run a full system scan with Norton now. Thank you babe. Any more suggestions please let me know i am open to all suggestions. Thank you dear.

First - is the Adblock Plus icon by any chance grayed out while you are on your email page?

Sorry, I was assuming you are using Yahoo email - I am wondering whether the Yahoo Toolbar might be interacting with the site to personalize your experience since they are by the same provider. It is, however, just a guess - but if nothing else is working its something you can try out. If it doesn't solve the problem you can easily just reactivate it.

HI CORY, NO MY LOVE THE AD BLOCK PLUS ICON IS RED AS CAN BE. IT LOOS JUST LIKE A STOP SIGN MY DEAR. YOU WERE SAFE TO ASSUME I WAS USING YAHOO EMAIL BECAUSE I AM. THAT IS MY EMAIL PROVIDER. YOU DIDN'T ASSUME WRONG. I EVEN WENT AS FAR AS CONTACTING MY TECHS AT P AND THEY COULDN'T FIOGURE IT OUT EITHER. THEY SAID THEY ASSUMED IT SOMETHING YAHOO ENGAGED AND ON THEIR SITE. NOW WE HAVE TO LIVE WITH THE CIRCUMSTANCES. I WISH YOU COULS BE HERE TO SEE WHAT I AM TALKING ABOUT MY DEAR. EVERYTHING IS WORKING FINE EXCEPT FOR THAT. I EVEN LOGGGED INTO INTERENTAND LOGGD INTO YAHOO AND IT IS TH SAME WAY. I HARDLY EVER USE INTERNET AD I WNET INTO GOOGL CHROME AND WNT INTO YAHOO AND IT IS ALSO THE SAME WAY. SO I AM JUST DUMBFOUNDED. YOU KNOW WHAT DEAR??? I EVEN TRIED CALLING YAHOO. AND I COULD NOT EVEN GET THROUGH TO THEM. MATTER OF FACT..I NEVER EVER HAVE BEEN ABLE TO GET THROUGH TO YAHOO SUPPORT IF I HAD A PROBLEM. I NEVER COULD GET A CLEAR LINE. I WAS ALWAYS PUT ON HOLD FOR HOURS. I SWEAR. I AM NOT KIDDING THAT'S WHY I THOUGHT ABOUT GOING AHEAD AND START USING GOOGLE CHROME BECAUSE IT IS ASTER AND IT ALSO HAS DIFFERENT PRODUCTIVITY SOFTWARE YOU CAN UTILIZE IF NEED BE. THE ONLYTHING I DON'T LIKE ABOUT IT IS THAT IT DOESN'T ALLOW YOU TO HAVE TOOLBARS ON THEIR SITE. TRUTHFULLY. IF YOU CAN THINK OF ANYTHING ELSE PLEASE LETME KMNOW. I APPRECIATE ALL YOU HAVE TRIED TO SHARE WITH ME. I HAVE TRIED ALL I CAN THINK OF. THANK YOU VERY MUCH MY DEAR.
