I think with the update to 125, I no longer see the typical Windows window controls in the upper right - minimize, maximize, close - so I don't know how to do those things.

THe top right looks like this Mac-based image (where those buttons are on the upper left) but I'm running on Windows so I don't have the dot buttons on top left nor the Windows style min/max/close at top right.

What do I need to do to get them back?

Can you attach a screenshot to show what you see?

Are two buttons also absent if you open a new window (Ctrl+N)?

Start Firefox in Troubleshoot Mode to check if one of the extensions ("3-bar" menu button or Tools -> Add-ons -> Extensions) or if hardware acceleration or if userChrome.css/userContent.css is causing the problem.

  • switch to the Default System theme: "3-bar" menu button or Tools -> Add-ons -> Themes
  • do NOT click the "Refresh Firefox" button on the Troubleshoot Mode start window

found my issue - my current PC can be a tablet (I don't use it that way) and something put it in tablet mode which changes things, including what I was asking about. When I finally got it out of tablet mode, all was well.

Thanks,
