I'm trying to watch videos in Firefox. Youtube works but Xvideos does not. Firefox pops up a window asking me:

My only choice is: Open with Windows Media Player x86 (default)

Awhile back [the question was asked], however the 'solution' is not what we are after here.

Once upon a time, there was a table with the Firefox downloads. And in previous versions. That is what I am looking for. I do not care, repeat, do not care, about the form input selecting 'latest' platform, etc.

Assuming also there is a method of downloading offline installers using tools like wget.

It has recently come to my attention that Mozilla may not continue to support Firefox browsers installed on Windows 7 computers after Jan. 2023, when the extended support for Windows 7 ends. Is that correct?

Will Firefox continue to work, but not receive security updates after that date?

Will Firefox still work on a Windows 7 computer that gets patches from 0Patch?

I have the site espn.com bookmarked and for the last month or so it has been opening it's various foreign sites instead of the united states version when I click on the bookmark tab. It will switch to the UK and Mexico sites randomly when I click on the tab. The address is saved as the US version (espn.com) when this happens so I can't figure out why it's doing it. It doesn't matter if I use a vpn that says I'm in the US or just my regular internet provider in the US, the site keeps changing what country it chooses to open with. I noticed that every time I click the tab it will cycle between the various different sites for each country even though as I said before, the bookmark is set for espn.com. It makes no sense as none of my other bookmarks do this and it doesn't do it when I use Safari's browser. Is there anything on my end I can do to get this to stop or is it coming from espn.com's end? After today's update to version 98 Firefox keeps saving files to the Downloads folder when I don't want it to, I just want to open them, but not keep them, with this new behaviour the Downloads folder keeps filing up with useless clutter.

For example, before the update, when I downloaded a .zip file, a pop-up would show up asking if I wanted to save the file or open it with an application. If I chose to save it it would be saved to the Downloads folder, and if I chose to open it nothing would be saved to the Downloads folder.

After the update, when I download a .zip file, Firefox always saves the file to the Downloads folder, even if I choose to open it.

Can you please tell me if there is a way to make Firefox behave like in the previous version?

Hello! A site kept popping up a confirmation window for an action I was trying to take, and in the confirmation window, there was a checkbox for something like "don't allow [this website] to prompt me again" (that's as best I can remember). I checked the box thinking it would just allow the action to happen without the confirmation window, but instead, the site just won't take that action anymore. How can I undo this setting? Thank you!

Hello, since migrating from Chrome to Firefox, I have used the Import Wizard to successfully transfer over my bookmarks and history, but I just can't seem to get my logins/passwords over. The wizard finishes saying that it successfully imported saved logins and passwords, but nothing shows up in the password manager. I am running Windows 10 64bit and Firefox is up to date. Anybody have any suggestions?

How do I edit the autofill data?

I can't get to the same payment page, to be in a position to delete it.

Most links on this matter refer to:

 Options => Privacy & Security => Forms and Autofill

However in my Version: Firefox 98.0.1 (64 bit) running on an up to date Windows 10 this feature is missing or deprecated.

Can anyone say how I could edit/delete this specific entry, or point me in the direction of where this data is stored?

In the mean time I can't recommend using Firefox for entering critical security data, where websites can allow the storage of CVV numbers.

Getting error SSL_ERROR_BAD_CERT_DOMAIN on all my sites that are signed with a SSL Cert from my internal CA since updating past version 99

This appears to be a bug starting after Firefox version 99 on Windows because after i upgraded to Firefox version 100 i started getting this on all my SSL Certs from my CA and they worked fine prior to the update. Can anyone confirm if something changed after version 100 that is causing this?

I am running "Firefox Browser 93.0", and I have Windows 10 Pro Version 21H1, OS Build 19043.1288. I am unable to watch certain video's, as an example, the video in this link: [https://www.wandtv.com/news/illinois-.../article_24b92a86-32c4-11ec-a487-3bb3f17fa133.html] won't play. It use to work, but something has changed, not by me. It will play that same video using the "Edge Browser" so there is nothing wrong with the website. However, I can play this "YouTube Video": [https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qAJSYk5wMiA] I also tried another link in their website, this is the weather link: [https://www.wandtv.com/weather] it starts to play, but then stops and nothing ever plays. Here is another link I tried on their website: [https://www.wandtv.com/sports/fans-ma.../article_f94f4ade-32e0-11ec-9351-ef71f52b96cd.html] It won't play either. But they all play in the "Edge Browser!" Any ideas on what changed and how do I change it back, so they will play? I prefer Firefox Browser to any other browser! Do you know what the issue could be? Hello. I and a friend of mine are having trouble with firefox, it seems to be using excessive ammounts of ram as pictured. I only had two tabs open and two addons installed when I took that screenshot. Any help would be appreciated, thanks in advance.

I need to know when a visitor to my site is clicking the back or forward button. The reason is I have a "tabstrip" that hilites the currently selected tab and the target document is displayed in an iframe. If I click the back or forward buttons the page is updated with the last or next document in the iframe, but the tabstrip is not updated to reflect the change. Part of this is due to me not knowing how to update the tabstrip, but also because I don't know how to detect the back or forward buttons being clicked.

So I need to know how to detect those button clicks. Also, in researching this, I noticed that there seems to be an idea that you can't distinguish between the forward and back button, only that a button was clicked. That doesn't make sense given that each button has a specific action that is opposite of the other. I need to know the truth about this.

Finally, as much as I use only Firefox myself, I know there will be others who use other browsers. Is there any difference between detecting the back and forward buttons on other browsers compared to Firefox?

I had to fix the link because I had renamed the page when I finished the work on its layout. Also, since I asked this question I have realized another similar and sort-of related issue on a different page: https://wayneca.neocities.org/WebDesi.../TagList.html. The relation is that the back and forward buttons don't correctly reload the page. The difference is that this one is concerning named links.

When you click a link in the table on the left it correctly moves the document in the right table to the point where the matching id anchor is. But when you click the back or forward button the tables do not shift back to where they were on the page as reloaded. The back and forward buttons work fine if the link anchors and id anchors are not in tables.

I have been told about the history functions, but I have found no examples of using it to correct the issue in either of the above cases. Is someone here able to point me to examples of using the history to make a selected link reset back to where it was or reload a page with the last jump point being reset correctly?

Also, why does the named link thing work without tables but not with tables?

How do you remove The Firefox Title bar from my desktop? It prevents me from clicking the "Accept or Decline" buttons for example on software installs for example. on your support page I tried the "firefox menu> + customize & disable the title bar through the button in the bottom left corner of the window". There is no "customize" option.

A couple users at our site intermittently receive a SSL_ERROR_BAD_MAC_ALERT error when navigating to Google in Firefox. This happens in Version 99.0.1 (64-bit) on Windows 10 computers. When the issue occurs, users can navigate to other websites without issues. Navigating to Google in a different browser works no problem. Restarting the browser will resolve the issue. Clearing cookies and site data has no effect. Users can also refresh the page after some time and the issue will go away.

Any idea as to why this is happening?

Please help, I just screwed up so bad I accidentally pressed the red "close" button on Firefox on my Mac instead of the yellow "minimise" button and lost a bunch of tabs I need (they were from a while back so not in history)

There is no option to "restore previous session" or "reopen tabs" is there any way whatsoever to recover my lost tabs I am freaking out big time there was some really important stuff in there that I hadn't bookmarked yet like an absolute IDIOT!!! My session had stayed active through computer being shut down and restarted and Firefox updates but pressing the red "close" button has seemingly nuked it. Is there a way to go into folders and find the tabs? Anything please help :(
