I just updated Version 102.14.0.0 to Version 115.1.0. Previously I was able to click on "Get Messages" and select which account I wanted to get new messages from. With Version 115, "Get Messages" gets new messages for all my accounts... all 12 of my accounts!

How/where can I change "Get Messages" so it retrieves new messages only for the account I want to get new messages from?

Hi there,

I don't know if this is the best place to post an idea for Mozilla Thunderbird. For a long time I have been looking for a feature that would allow me to fit more time on one page of my calendar (in week view). I recently discovered the correct setting to change the number of hours displayed.

I've always tried using Ctrl+Mouse Wheel to zoom in and out, but it didn't change anything. I thought it would be a nice idea to map the above setting to the Ctrl+Wheel combination for zooming in and out, so you don't have to search through the settings.

Do you have any experience with this or is there an addon for this?

Thanks in advance

So I want my UI to look proper so title bar at the top, with the title only, menu bar below it, and the rest tabs etc below that, you know like i trained my brain for the last quatre century.

Unfortunately with this new supernova UI this is messed up, see attached image. I consider this a UI bug its absolutely counter intuitive, please fix.

Also the font looke now more washed out in comparison with the previouse build, I want my font crisk #000000 on #FFFFFF no gray or grayisch or anything, the UI ist nto an art peace, its a tool, as simple as that.

How do I remove "Unified Toolbar" in Thunderbird 115

Thunderbird 115 has a "Unified Toolbar" (https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/getting-started-thunderbird-main-window-supernova#w_2-unified-toolbar) above the tab bar (and above the menu if you show it). I don't want it. How do I remove it? I tried Customize to remove everything from it, but it still contains a "Spaces menu" that I don't want and can't remove in Customize, and a hamburger menu that I don't want because I am ok with the regular old menu, but that I also can't remove in Customize.

I just want all of my folders and sub-folders to have the same display columns! With 115, you can change any folder or sub-folder to any column organization you want, but I want them all the same. 115 changed my display columns - why couldn't you leave them alone, Thunderbird??? I can go in and change them back manually, so why were they changed at all??? I don't want to have to change each folder and its child folders individually - I have a few dozen folders, most with dozens of sub-folders. I tried the "Apply columns to ..." and selected Local Folders to change them all - none of them changed! I saw the video from Castellani claiming that TB tried to make sure that upgrading wouldn't take hours to reconfigure back to a usable state, but that's obviously not true if you have more than the one or two folders shown in the video.

Mozilla/Thunderbird -- Is it so hard to leave things as they are and just TELL us there are new features available, if we want them, instead of DESTROYING our well-used setups and forcing us to come here in hopes that someone can save us from hours of tedium just to be productive again?

Thanks to anyone who can save those of us who just want our setups back the way they were!

Before my recent upgrade from TB102 to TB115, the Inbox (message listings) reflected my Windows 'system' preference for page background color. Now the background is only white, although a New Message, for example, will show my system background color unless the sender has specified another. Any way to restore my system color to the Inbox background?

I upgraded to version 115.2.2 (64 bits), on a Windows 10 OS.

I used to be able to reduce the pane of the message list, so that I could expand the contents of a selected message. But now it has a lower limit, where I cannot push the line up further.

Attached is an image showing the line of concern. I could drag it down, but no further up. How could I change this behavior?

Thanks!
