115 continues to try my patience, but inflicting threading upon me goes beyond annoyance and into the reign of seriously disrupting my ability to use Thunderbird.
I've read some stuff here that I don't really understand. Is there any way to TOTALLY turn off threading for any and all incoming or stored emails? I found View ==> Sort By ==> Threads seems to have an option for "All" but that can't be unchecked.
If anyone can provide any help, I'll be quite grateful!

I can go to Add-ons and the toggle is set to "on" but the icon in the menu bar is black. If I click the toggle off, then back on, LastPass comes on just fine. Why is Firefox disabling something that Add-ons says is loaded? VERY strange. Does NOT happen in Chrome. Thanks for any assistance. PITB!!!

My config is this currently: full-screen-api.transition-duration.enter 0 0 full-screen-api.transition-duration.leave 0 0 full-screen-api.transition.timeout 0 Despite everything being like before the transition persists... I tried all the settings and nothing seems to work well (not tech savvy). Strict = user comments blocked and all the other settings allow so many ads they cover content and/or there are a hundred on a page. On a desktop. Any suggestions would be appreciated. This is VERY difficult for me to even see… and navigat9ng thunderbirds menus has always been very difficult and not user friendly. Add to this the confusing reordering of emails received so that newer emails now stack UNDER older emails…. And its completely frustrating to find anything. I have to scroll down hunting for possible new emails burried down below dozens of others on a tiny scrunched window. PLEASE how do i change it back…. This is too difficult to function in………

I am really getting tired of TBird resetting my all my default preferences whenever there is an update. One more time and, contributor or not, I'll abandon the app. I've lost critical emails in the past. This time it's reverted my Threads setting and there seems to be no way to get rid of these damned thread filings. I don't want threads. They make no sense for me and my correspondences get lost as they are buried deeper and deeper into the ooze of Thread world. Can somebody tell me how to turn these things off? And can somebody please, please, please tell Mozilla to stop screwing with my settings when they update!? And don't tell me they don't because we all know that they do.

If i close the app (menu quit), and restart it, javacript.enabled is reset true. This behaviour is not replicated for other settings i may make, e.g. dom.storage.enabled, or permissions.default.image. Being Android i have no root so no possibility of creating a user.js to override Firefox ignoring my settings. This seems to be a bug. Version is Android Nightly version 121.0a1, 2023-11-05.

Can someone please answer how to reset firefox size after you've been using a bigger screen and go back to the laptop the top bar is lost way up and I cant catch it to move it to resize the firefox window. Using Fn and F11 to go into maximize mode doesnt help me at all cuz I end up in full screen on the FHD screen but cant grab and drag the window to resize it again - and please NO comments about using FN and F11 again. This is an issue thats been since years - cant figure out why ppl who are tryin to help think others dont know the difference between maximization and the window being bigger than the laptop screen and being lost. So FIREFOX key-shortcut for window size reset URGENT PLEASEEEE - Im having this issue couple times a week. To fix it I gotta go again to the bigger screen reduce the size of the window and then disconnect - which is soooo horrible.

I almost always use Preview printing on my Macs to avoid multiple pages of garbage so this is fairly important to me...and it might help to save a few trees...
