Youtube video thumbnail does not show in Google search results but does in IE
This issue was addressed here https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/questions/960052 but from the standpoint of adjusting one person's firefox setting and that won't fix my lost traffic.
It does no good to tell me how to adjust my firefox to see youtube videos. I am interested in the 10,000 people using firefox that find my search result and THEY also don't see the video thumbnail. So this is a global issue that hurts the visitation to my video by those using firefox. Since the problem does not exist in IE, this appears to be a firefox bug. screenshots here: firefox http://screencast.com/t/nQeQ2usmBIv IE http://screencast.com/t/4wLrQJfhvSj0

It works for me with the default settings in Firefox 26, so if it doesn't work then you may have an extension installed that prevents the image from showing or otherwise made changes to the default settings.
People make changes all the time if they want to block content and that is up to them.
Note that Google sends this image embedded as a data URI as you can see if you right-click this image:

I don't know what setting would prevent this image from showing.
