Separators shift on restart of firefox

more options

I have a couple of icons on my add-on bar. Now, as I'm a "clean freak" I like to keep them separated, so I used the Separators in the "Customise toolbar" menu (as you do). I placed one between each icon and continued on my way.

Now, every time I open Firefox, one of the separators moves left a slot so two bunch up together. It's the same one every time and i can move it back, but it returns when I next open Firefox. If I leave it alone, nothing happens. It moves no further.

Is this something to do with my Firefox? The add-ons? Am I being stupid and missing something?

Help is much appreciated. Thanks in advance!

Open the bookmarks folder <Shift> <Control> B. Select Bookmarks Toolbar. See if doing your changes here works better.

As I understand reading this, the seperators for the add-ons that you have aren't staying in the place that you put them. There are multiple problems that may be causing this, and there are multiple solutions that we can attempt. First things first, what version of Firefox are you on? Many people have been having issues with add-ons and the awesome bar in the latest version of Firefox: version 26. You may also be running an older version of Firefox and your addons hay not be compatible. But the best thing to do is bear it until they release a patch. But or now, check on the more obvious things before we assume that its a Firefox problem. A lot of add-ons haven't been optimized for the new version of Firefox, So wait check on that as well. If you don't know how to do any of this stuff, I can answer your questions. I hope this helps
