Since Nov 7,13 Google requires all youtube accounts to be connected to a Google+ account. They show links to follow their instructions. However, I always get stuck in the middle of the process ending up with a blank page without required options to continue. I tried for 5 days continuously, to no avail. Finally I switched over to Internet Explorer and the account linking was accomplished in less than 5 minutes, with all links working. How can I set up Firefox to have all links work flawlessly??? I guess lots of people have the same problem with FF

Many site issues can be caused by corrupt cookies or cache. In order to try to fix these problems, the first step is to clear both cookies and the cache. Note: This will temporarily log you out of all sites you're logged in to. To clear cache and cookies do the following:

  1. Go to Firefox > History > Clear recent history or (if no Firefox button is shown) go to Tools > Clear recent history.
  2. Under "Time range to clear", select "Everything".
  3. Now, click the arrow next to Details to toggle the Details list active.
  4. From the details list, check Cache and Cookies and uncheck everything else.
  5. Now click the Clear now button.

Further information can be found in the Clear your cache, history and other personal information in Firefox article.

Sorry, this wasn't the problem. Cleaning cache, cookies & history is my first line of defense. Then I restart the computer. About 15 times for all - to no avail. This is the first major problem I had w. FF lasting 5 days, what IE could fix in 5 minutes. There is something else...wrong with FF
