Chosen solution

Here is what I had found happened. For Firefox. When you go to the tools/options/content. In the exceptions next to the block pop-up windows. I clicked on exceptions and the secureserver.net mailbox was in there and blocked. I then deleted it, added it back in and checked allowed. Bingo this was the problem. Hope this can help someone else.

Do you check all 3 emails on the same platform (e.g., Gmail, GoDaddy, etc.)?

When you have a problem with one particular site, a good "first thing to try" is clearing your Firefox cache and deleting your saved cookies for the site.

(1) Bypass Firefox's Cache

Use Ctrl+Shift+r to reload the page fresh from the server.

(You also can clear Firefox's cache completely using:

orange Firefox button or Tools menu > Options > Advanced

On the Network mini-tab > Cached Web Content : "Clear Now")

(2) Remove the site's cookies (save any pending work first) using either of these. While viewing a page on the site:

  • right-click and choose View Page Info > Security > "View Cookies"
  • Alt+t (open the classic Tools menu) > Page Info > Security > "View Cookies"

Then try reloading the page. Does that help?

I tried everything you recommended. Still the same.

Two of the emails work on the login page for firefox. One doesn't. But all three work on other browsers. What happens is when I try to login with this particular email, it acts like it wants to open my email account but instead just refreshes the page with the account back in the user box and prompting me to enter the password again. The password is correct because it works on the other browsers.

Hi talos, thank you for posting your solution. For future reference, you can use the Page Info > Permissions list to look for non-default site-specific settings. Might save some time compared with opening all the dialogs from Options.
