Opening a new tab in ver. 15 causes previously visited websites to display. Version 14 didn't do that. What can I do?

Another "feature" contrived and approved by somebody who obviously does not use FF and who just likes to change things for the sake of change.

Every time I try to open a new tab, version 15 displays thumbnails showing where I've been surfing. If this is a "new and improved 'feature'", how do I turn it off? Those thumbnails don't appear when I start FF.

Using Win7 Home Premium.

I could kick myself in the a$$ for trying a new version of something without waiting for at least 90 days so the bugs can be worked out.

If you want to turn off the new tab page, you can read How do I turn the new tab page off?

Sorry for the unnecessary remarks in my original post. It was a frustrating day. I'll try your suggestion when I get the laptop back.
