Firefox 15.0 hangs when a link from any google page is opened in new tab.

Firefox 15.0 hangs and stops responding whenever I open a link returned by google search of G+ in a new tab by clicking the mouse whee. It does not crash. Upon hitting the cross the windows dialogue appears with the following information. I have take 2 dumps of the hanged firefox process.
