Gmail use with Firefox keeps many Gmail sessions from logging out.
I use Gmail with Firefox and many times (say 50% of time) when I log off Gmail and return later I find that the previous session has remained open in the ensuing interval. I don't check the "Keep me logged in" box when I log into Gmail.
I've been told that this could be a Firefox - Gmail conflict and was wondering if you've heard this before with any of your customers and have any suggestions?
Chosen solution
- Make sure that you are using the "Remember History" setting as described in this article -> Settings for privacy, browsing history and do-not-track
Check and tell if that works.
BTW you are using an old version of Firefox. Any specific reason of not using the latest version Firefox 12 ??

Thanks, that suggestion seems to have solved the problem. Just have to remember my user names and passwords on my own. :-) Lumps
You can save your Usernames & Passwords in Firefox but just don't select the "Stay signed in" checkbox, see these articles:
- Password manager - Remember, delete and change saved passwords in Firefox
- http://kb.mozillazine.org/Password_Manager
- Usernames and passwords are not saved
- http://kb.mozillazine.org/User_name_and_password_not_remembered
Check and tell if its working.
