What is the alert that you get? Does it refer to their security certificate, to redirecting, etc.?


Also, you have a very old version of Firefox. For OSX 10.4, you should be able to run Firefox 3.6.28. (But unfortunately not Firefox 12.)

it says 'untrusted connection' and then 'get me out of here' or 'add exception'

Can you check your system clock? HTTPS authentication will fail if the time on your computer is inaccurate.

Is there an option to view technical information on the main error page? Or can you "Retrieve Certificate" to view the information and see whether there is a site mismatch?
