Instruct Firefox to use more RAM
I'd like to know if there is a way to disable some of the optimizations that Firefox has made for low end systems? I have 24GB of RAM and I'd like Firefox to not page out memory when I'm working with many tabs (some with large images).
Additionally I notice that Firefox tries to load certain tabs only when I switch to them, which isn't really what I want.
My goal is to let Firefox party on my system, using as much CPU/RAM as possible, so that my experience is as quick as possible. Is there a series of options I could set to do this?
Thanks!

It is the Windows operating system that determines what to keep in memory and what to page to disk.

Sorry, I shouldn't have used the term paging like that. It is not the OS making a decision to page out Firefox (because the OS isn't reporting page faults for the process), but rather Firefox itself making a conscious decision to get rid of state it could otherwise keep around "just in case".
