I have installed FF10 on WIn 7 Bsuiness 64 bit and it is painfully slow. type into any field and characters come up seconds after typing. Browsing is so o slow it is unusable.

Seeems much better in safe mode but even with all but bookmarks disabled reset to default on the safe page. It was fine on FF9.

It is a problem form start up; it is notthe memory leak issue that FF suffers.

Just to add. FF10 is unusable even with all options reset in Safe Mode screen. Chrome is fine as are other applications, so it is not a slow computer problem. Typing this message it takes 2-3 seconds between pressing a key and seeing it on screen.

I turned of hardware acceleration in Options/Advanced/General and it seems to be a lot better.

Not fast but usable.

Try Waterfox which is based on Firefox but has been optimized for 64 bit systems. Love it.
