My antivirus is working, just not completely!! I had a 'warning' when upgrading that I ignored (stupidly) thinking it was a mistake!! BUT, it doesn't scan all my files now!!

I want to either switch back to an older version of Firefox (how do I do that), or fix the problem!!

HELP!!

It is most likely only the toolbar that is incompatible. You can post on the Kaspersky forum for assurance that your main Kaspersky protections is continuing.

Kaspersky 2012 is apparently compatible with Firefox 6 per this on the Kaspersky forum: http://forum.kaspersky.com/index.php?showtopic=215581&hl=firefox+6

Maybe you just need to upgrade your Kaspersky product.

I am running Windows XP 64 Bit. I tried upgrading from Firefox 6.0, to 7.0. The upgrade warned that Kaspersky Internet Security Suite 2011, which I am running, is not compatible with version 7.0. I canceled the installation. I guess that I will have to stick with version 6.0, or unload it, if it is now a security risk, due to holes needing patching, and just use Internet Explorer. I am not dumping my Kaspersky security package.

I forgot to add that I sent a message to Firefox support, asking them about the problem between Kaspersky and Firefox 7.0. They did not reply.
