followed all options, still cannot get my gmail account to open ...

tried deleting cookies ... tried adding www.google.com to accepted websites ... tried checking off all boxes i was told to do yet still no gmail capabilities on my laptop which, to say the least, is a little inconvenient if this can't be fixed, i will have to revert away from firefox ...
