I tried to set up a Sync account and when asked to verify I am not a robot, NO letters appear that I need to verify, so cannot open an accoount. Also on certain websites , such s My Heritage I cannot see photos that I have uploaded, which normally show when I open my account. This does work with IE9 but not Firefox. I have reinstalled Adobe flash player 10.3 latest version. HELP please.

I followed all your suggestions and reset the allow images box, but still did not work. Neither can I show photos or other media that are in image form. this proves particularly difficult when using My Heritage or Ancestry pages.

Any further ideas please.

  • Check the permissions for the domain in the current tab in "Tools > Page Info > Permissions"
  • Check that images are enabled: Tools > Options > Content: [X] Load images automatically
  • Check the exceptions in "Tools > Options > Content: Load Images > Exceptions"
  • Check the "Tools > Page Info > Media" tab for blocked images (scroll through all the images with the cursor Down key).

If an image in the list is grayed and there is a check-mark in the box "Block Images from..." then remove that mark to unblock the images from that domain.

There are also extensions (Tools > Add-ons > Extensions) and security software (firewall, anti-virus) that can block images.

Also check that you aren't blocking cookies.

Make sure that your security software (firewall) isn't blocking images and cookies.
You can check the special, enhanced, setting if your firewall can block such content.
