when I use my email I have to close tabs after each one ,go back to my desktop and start all over again, is there a way I can just ckick a back button to go to my next email?
When I go to read my emails i have to close tabs, which takes me to the desktop, and I have to start all over again to read my next message. Why dosen't the back button work? Or how do I read a continously stream of email?

Sounds like the email interface is important to the question why is it not mentioned by name?
What is on you desktop that you have to go back there open email. Does it open your email for you. If it does just bookmark the tab that opens in Firefox, then you can at least start over within Firefox.
Is Firefox closing with the last tab, if so under Options > Tabs make sure each of the "Always show tab bar" is check-marked. I have each of the first five checked.
Create a bookmark for your email and give it the name of the email, use it to bring up your email from Firefox.
