Adobe Flashplayer 10 cannot be installed with Firefox 5. That sucks.

I upgraded to Firefox 5 on Friday 6/24. Immediately my email froze (Yahoo). Had to disable the latest update so it will work. Shockwave Flash 10.3.181.26. Now, I cannot run the Flash player, or I do not have email. I should not have to choose between being able to check my email, or seeing flash presentations. I am extremely aggravated, and have never known Firefox to make such a shortsighted update in the 3 years I have been on it.

Do I understand you correctly.

Yahoo email works for you on firefox 5 if flash player is not installed, but with Flashplayer 10.3.1 Yahoo email does not work. I have webmail and FlashPlayer working on Firefox on an XP but I use GoogleMail and Hotmail.

Adobe released a update for Flash ( Adobe Flash Player ) since you posted this.Update and try again.
