each time its checks add ons and also shows welcome screen. How can I stop this

Each time I load Firefox a small window open and it checks compatibility of the add on such as Java etc. It then takes me to a welcome screen.

I want to speed up not waste time when I go onto the internet, so I can I stop this from happening

Maybe Google Update? Disable or un-install to test Add-ons > Extensions.

Firefox opens the first tab as welcome to Firefox and 2nd tab is my home page.
