Firefox keeps asking to be my default browser but it all ready is

I am using firefox 4.0 and evertime i open the program it asks if it wants to be my default web browser. Firefox is and always will be my default browser. I have tried the options in the firefox support area but it still hasn't made a difference

Tools > Options > Advanced - General - System Defaults = un-check Always check to see if Firefox is the default browser on startup

Tools if you have the Menu bar showing, otherwise hit the Firefox button and use Options in the right-hand menu column.
