I just downloaded Firefox 4.0 and several of my add-ons including Prism for Firefox 1.0b3 (which I use a LOT) are not compatible. Also flagged as not compatible was Microsoft .NET Framework Assistant 1.2.1.

Eventually the developers should update there add-ons to support Firefox 4.0. Many add-ons already support Firefox 4.0. Since add-ons are not created by Mozilla, Mozilla is not responsible for updating them.

Prism is now part of the "Chromeless" project: http://mozillalabs.com/blog/2011/02/prism-is-now-chromeless/

The latest version of Chromeless is based on Firefox 4, and you can find more information and instructions here: http://mozillalabs.com/chromeless/

Unfortunately Chromeless doesn't help those of use that just need a SSB (Single Site Browser). I'm just a user, not a developer.

To those with this problem, you can recreate your SSBs using the stand alone Prism application. You can download it from http://prism.mozillalabs.com/.

It's a tiny bit of extra work with the stand-alone, but does exactly what it should. Taking Prism out of Firefox 4 was to my mind a very large mistake.

Thanks you very much, I'm using the Prism Standalone Application and now everything works as before :)
