Any way to add color to the buttons? (back, forward, home, etc)

In FF4, is here any way to add some color to the main buttons? The way they are by default, they all look grayed out. I can tell the back buttons becomes are darker gray when it's active but in FF3 it actually turned color and was much easier to notice.

My add-ons that have icons are nice and colorful making the default FF buttons look grayed out and inactive. Very hard to tell what's active and what's not.
