When I go to a site that requires a user name and password, firefox mozilla will ask me if I want to save it and I click on yes but I don't know how to retrieve them when I want to go to a particular site that I saved in firefox mozilla. Is there a tab or drop down icon that I should be clicking on?

chasgeorge,

You should not have to do anything when you return to a site that you have already saved your user name and password. FF will supply the data automatically. The below-listed paragraph is quoted from a Mozilla article.

"In a safe and secure manner, Firefox can store usernames and passwords that you use to access sites on the Web. Using Firefox's Password Manager, you can manage the passwords you want Firefox to remember. When you access a site for which Firefox has stored your username and password, Firefox automatically fills in the appropriate fields for you."

If you want to display your saved information go to Tools|Options|Security then click on the <Saved Passwords> button.

If it doesn't "autofill", you can click or double-click in the Username field and then select the Username. You shouldn't need to do that for web sites where you have only one saved Un/Pw, but sometimes it is necessary (my bank has just updated their web site and my single Un/Pw no longer autofills, but I can select it and it works). You'll have to do that all the time for domains where you have multiple Un/Pw's saved.
