Google may have changes that search page.

Thanks that gives me a google UK start page (one search button & one Im feeling lucky). what I am requiring is the 'firefox 'start page with two buttons one for UK & one for rest of world followed by the search button,I just cant figure out where its gone?

I think that Google made changes to their web pages and removed those buttons from the search page.

You get a choice on the results page in the sidebar at the left for:

• The web
• Pages from the UK

I do have various facilities on the left of page, but I dont seem to have the option of uk or world . but I have seen those options before, but I dont have them now. & I still cant get firefox start page with the buttons I had before.

That Firefox home page is maintained by Google. If Google has decided to change that page and removed the buttons then you can't get them back. Google has been done more such 'experiments' on it pages during the last years.

yeah mines the same, seem to have lost the uk search on sunday night ..

Thanks Andy well at least I`m not alone out here. But I have now given up with firefox start page & now use google uk which was the first answer to my question above..

i've just disabled a couple of add- ons id applied and ive uk search back and firefox isnt being as annoying as before .. dare i say it's back to the old girl ive come to love ? fingers crossed
