Hi! My browser.search.region keeps changing from US to RO on its own. I'm running Firefox 122.0.1 (64-bit) on Mac Monterey 12.7.3. I'm also using Mozilla VPN 2.16.0 (2.202307282002). Thank you!

Change browser.region.update.enabled to false in about:config.
