Some of the text in Thunderbird (and also Firefox) displays as a green and pink/purple colour. Even refreshing doesn't seem to change it back to the black text.

I have also noticed that this is also happening in Firefox when I access the admin part of a WordPress site. I have tested the WordPress site with both Chrome and Edge as well, and it only happens with Firefox.

Is there a way of stopping this from happening?

I have found and disabled the hardware acceleration in Firefox, and it seems to have fixed the dreaded purple text problem.

Disabling hardware acceleration in Thunderbird seems to have solved the problem.

But how do I fix the same problem with Firefox??
