Hi,

I noticed that in the last update, Firefox displays the list of login information options, in auto-fill mode, in alphabetical order and not according to the most appropriate address. For example, I get an authentication window for articles vpn.xyz. The first alternative I get is related to the address teach.abc (which does not fit at all) while the alternative for the address vpn.xyz appears in sixth place.

Thanks

Saved logins will never be suggested for a different domain. What you are likely seeing is general form history which can include email addresses and usernames. This can happen when the form does not look like a conventional login.

Current Firefox releases include subdomains as a suggestion in the drop-down list. You can set signon.includeOtherSubdomainsInLookup = false on the about:config page to disable this feature to show subdomains.
