I have been using extensions that I wrote. It was already difficult enough that I had to get them signed, but now I cannot even do that without a third party program because of "Two factor authentication". Isn't there some way to get Firefox to work the way you want it too without spending day jumping through hoops? There needs to be a way.

2FA is another Firefox login option - what does that have to do with your extension?

2fa is different from two factor authorization? How do I use it? I cannot maintain the extensions that I have or add new ones without logging in and I cannot see a way to log in without a third party application and a complicated procedure, I do not see why this should be necessary unless I am trying to develop extensions that would be used by other people.

I am sorry what I really need is not an easier way to log in, but a way to have extensions on my browser without needing permission. There does not seem to be one in Firefox.

Use Developer Edition or Nightly with signature enforcement disabled (xpinstall.signatures.required set to false).
