If you are unable to copy and paste URL addresses into Outlook from Firefox, there could be several reasons for this issue. Here are some common causes and troubleshooting steps to resolve the problem:

Clipboard Issues: Sometimes, clipboard issues can prevent copying and pasting. Try restarting both Firefox and Outlook to see if it resolves the problem.

Compatibility Mode: If you have enabled Compatibility Mode in Outlook or Firefox, it may interfere with the copy and paste functionality. Disable Compatibility Mode in both applications and check if the issue is resolved.

Security Software Interference: Certain security software or browser extensions may block copying and pasting. Temporarily disable any antivirus or security software, as well as browser extensions, and test the copy-paste functionality.

None of your ideas helped. I have not activated Norton on this because it limits the number of results to 10 at a time. I am still using Windows 7, could this be the reason? It's really, really annoying.

OK, for anyone else reading this I finally figured it out:

If you are using the free Outlook you need to do the following to copy and paste a URL.

1. Open your new e-mail and address as normal. 2. Go to the URL you want to add to your e-mail and click it. Then do Ctrl+C. 3. Got back to your message and click the spot you want the link to be and do Ctrl+V to paste it.

This is especially true if you are using and older version of Windows. For some reason the normal Right Click method is no longer working for URLs. It works for everything else, but no URLs, in Outlook.
