Hello.

When performing a Google search in FF, it shows the website then the clickable blue link (which is standard) but, starting today (Tues), it also shows the website logo (to the left of the website).

Please answer each question separately:

Q1a. Is this a permanent change?

b. Is there a way to revert back to the 'original' layout (without the logo)?

  • The issue appears to be limited to FF only.

Thanks in advance.

The result page layout is determined by Google, so you probably need to direct your questions to them. For example, over on https://support.google.com/websearch/community

General Comment on Weird Search Results Layouts

Sometimes users are randomly opted in to a layout experiment. You can use a feedback link at the bottom of the page to tell Google you hate it. They would appreciate that.

You then can try to escape the experiment by clearing your Google cookies. Note that this will sign you out of your Google services. The easiest way is, while you're on the page, click the lock icon at the left end of the address bar and use "Clear cookies and site data...". Then try Google in a new tab.
