Thunderbird is coming up with password does not match imap passcode, I have changed the password and know its right. I cant get any emails or send. this has been going on for days now, help please.

Some email providers require special passwords for email client use. Some require an APP password and some require the OAUTH authentication. if your email provider does that, then the password used for online access will not work in Thunderbird. I cannot advise, since you did not post your email provider, such as AOL, GMAIL, etc.
