I noticed that after posting a question here , then signing out, the next time I sign in I do not need to use my password. How do I set things up so that I will be prompted to enter my password when signing in to this support page. Don't know if this an issue for Support.mozilla or Firefox.

I guess you clicked the remember me button. But as you appear to be using edge, I guess you would need to ask in an edge support forum for instructions of where is stores such things.

You probably need to delete the cookie for accounts.firefox.com. See https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/firefox-accounts-supportmozillaorg and https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/firefox-accounts-managing-account-data and https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/change-your-firefox-accounts-password
